You need to spend money in order to open cases, getting a knife, gloves is almost impossible to get, unless you're willing to spend thousands of dollars on one sitting.

unfortunately there is no way to get a ''free item'' even if you win cases you still have to add funds for the keys to open them (talking about expensive items like knifes and guns ) probably there is a chance of winning decent items when you get a drop done to you after passing certain level on CS
