im not excited at all
there is nothing new in cs2 i can see so far
except shoot through smoke wow real excited
really excited for the same anticheat

CS2 has everything that I would want to improve in CSGO, well, beside decoys. I never liked that decoys make shoot sounds. Just a fake flash nade would be pretty enough.
- lower processing and input lag, ngreedia reflex support
- less grind and wasted time needed to be able to even play the game (simplified things like movement, and other things not paired to a shooting talent which you would (not) expect in FPS)
- slower acceleration (slightly reduces xantarespeeking and teleporting from sprays and peekers advantage of high ping diff peek)
- better looking, better contrast and visibility
- unified hitboxes (no more p2w hitbox agents)
- better usage of CPU of clients, removal of spaghetti coding in source1 hogging cpu
- probably lower CPU usage of servers (currently they are nearly all lagging with high sv/var).
Cons:
- sv_maxunlag 1000ms (its EXACTLY 29x more than in valorant, someone got nuts)
- high ping diff peekers advantage due to previous parameter obviously still exists
- camouflaged 64 tick (terrible TTK when spraying, probably 3rd party will come with true 128t and MM will be again not used seriously)
- smokes are weird
- GPU heavy (forget about getting a top rank or 240+Hz at low/mid range GPU)
- CPU usage is better but still generating less FPS than CSGO
- no minmodels, still p2w look and p2w agents with visually bigger body but same hitbox like other smaller agents not baiting you to shoot to axe aka fake head, oxygen bomb aka fake head, etc.
- no netgraph so we cant know whether the server sucks or not
Baffling and fearing:
- smoke lineups not exactly the same
- netcode (greed wont allow to give us fair netcode like in 1.6 and we probably get similar crap with unfair lagcompensation like in csgo - sv_maxunlag 1000ms is insane, allowing also backtrack cheat to be great again, cheaters already celebrating)
- matchmaking and anticheat (very probably no improvement)
Final verdict: cant decide now, for me 6-7/10 if things dont go worse. I would give 9/10 if the netcode will be fair and even with maximum 25ms lagcompensation like in valorant (35ms with slower movement) but this wont happen.
