A good example: if you give a 10y.o kid, who’s just purchased CSGO yesterday a $100k karambit, he’s not gonna all of a sudden start running aroung giving knife aces. If you give a bad player, who’s a KD of 1-8 with stock AWP an AWP with 4 kato 2k14 stickers on it he’s not gonna turn that 1-8 into a 31-8.
Bad players aren’t bad because they don’t have good skins. And good players don’t care what skins others have.
no skill player can't find dropped ak and try ban skins...
Nice try tho.
Edit: havent seen such a bs today before, and there is alot bs going around in the discussions.
People want to play the game and watch it on a level playing field, without any advantage to the players. People want fair games. People want fair competition. People want the best players and the best teams to win.
It is a fact that people with skins have an advantage over those without skins, and this is an undisputable fact which no one can refute. For this reason, the SKINS should be removed from the game.
If they still want to have skins they can always play on community servers. Community servers are usually populated by more casual players, and these people do not care as much about the competitive scene, as they simply want to play the game for personal enjoyment, while the competitive scene is somewhat more refined and sophisticated like myself. So like I said, people who want skins should just be moved to unofficial servers.
However as I said, skins have no place in a competitive game and should be removed, and this will probably take a lot of time and work, however it is the right thing to do. There are many other problems in the game as well and if these skins are removed then people might not care about many of the other problems. Which means that removing skins could pretty much negate all other problems that the game has and it would make the game better for everyone.
Secondly, I am a competitive player and I love the game. So I would rather see it improve than get worse. I am not being negative. This is purely for the benefit of the game and I have no ill intentions at all.
So if we talking about advantages, then users with skins put themself into disadvantages over users without skins.
Even default T agents on Dust2 are less visible than any paid ones.
If your point is that a better skin gives you a psychological advantage then the issue isn’t the skin but your self-confidence.
