Are case hardened skins getting new model update in CS2?

For now case hardened skins use old models. Most of the Valve made skins, especially pattern based, are on new models. Do you think they update case hardened in the same way?

source 2 lighting will affect the way ALL csgo skins will look, including the case hardened stuff

i believe they'll just look brighter, especially blue gems

I am not concerned of lighting, they will fix it for sure. My question is, will they remain on old AKM models? Or will they update the skin for the new model.

Knowing valve, they'll probably just port the old AK textures on the new one. If you ask me, the CS2 AK just looks like the old one but in slight plastic material lol.

It will be a bummer if they let Case Hardened be on the old model

They are just waiting since they saw how the market reacted to doppler gems. Seeing how bluegems are the most valuable, they probably dont want to mess up the market again. Id say they will 100% update it.

Good question as they look awful in CS2, same applies too Laminates.
