Yes sir.
its 25gb
well, i have to boot into windows to play it where i just use Linux exclusively for everything, and it gets old really quickly, and CS2 gets boring quickly because of how limited it is right now, believe me.
Actually i have a hamster powered drive (huge and slow), not for csgo though, which is a standard SSD
89gigs games today waste so much space, anyone remember when a computer had less then 2 gigs of harddrive space, steam first came out, counterstrike 1.6 was like 250 mbs to install
i know, not a problem really, i just don't want to have it unnecessarily on my system if i'm not playing it (not being able to actually)
i get your point, wine/proton gets it for free because it doesn't have that many dependencies, and windows games ships statically with them...
on the other hand it is hard to support various distros, but they currently already do it for Dota 2 so i think they already have the experience there, also they could release it and leave it for the community to figure it out in the meanwhile, linux gaming is all about tweaking stuff...
