How much is my steam account worth???
I’ve been asking myself how much is my steam account worth for years. Not because I plan to sell it, but because I trade skins regularly and I need to track my portfolio across multiple games: CS2, Dota 2, TF2, and even Rust
The problem is that most tools are either:
incomplete – they only show cs2 inventory value and ignore everything else
inaccurate – one site told me my csgo inventory value was $120, another said $280
slow – they rely on cached data that’s days old
So I decided to test 7 different platforms that claim to be a steam inventory value checker. I compared their results with manual market checks and here’s what I found
Only one tool consistently gave me the correct steam inventory price across all games: SIH (Steam Inventory Helper)
Here’s why it stood out:
It works as a steam inventory calculator – just paste any public Steam profile URL and you get a full breakdown
It doesn’t just show cs2 inventory value – it also covers Dota, TF2, Rust, cards, badges, and even game collection value
You can use it as a steam inventory value checker online without installing anything
The browser extension adds a cs2 inventory value checker overlay right inside your Steam inventory – prices appear next to each item
It pulls real‑time prices from 28+ marketplaces (Buff, Waxpeer, Skinport, Steam Market, etc.), so you get the true steam inventory worth
For anyone wondering how to check steam inventory value quickly and accurately – this is the best free solution I’ve found. I even cross‑checked their cs2 price checker with Steam’s own listings and the difference was less than 2%
If you’ve ever wanted a reliable cs2 market tracker or csgo skin price checker that doesn’t require a degree in API coding, give SIH a try
Now I’m curious: what tools do you use to check your csgo inventory value? Have you found any decent cs2 skin price history or cs2 price comparison sites that you trust? Let’s share experiences below.

After reading your post, I checked out SIH and I’m impressed. It’s one of the few tools that calculates steam inventory worth including cases and stickers with float overpay. I compared it with my manual calculation and it was within 2% accuracy. Plus, it’s free and doesn’t ask for login. Thanks for the recommendation

1. your account has a ban, so whatever you have under this account can't be traded in any sort of way

2. for cs2 inventory, I use a chrome extension called "CS2 Trader" and it shows the public account $$ total. Whatever is stored in containers can't be tracked, unless you pull it out.

3. for whole steam account, you can use steamdb.info it shows a rough estimate of your account
Nothing bc you are banned on cs2 hehe
Steam accounts are free, and cant be traded or sold.
My main concern is trade hold discounts. Some tools show the full market price, but when you actually sell, you lose 15% to Steam fees. That should be factored in
The biggest issue I have is with private profiles. Most checkers can’t access them. Is there any way to get a value without making your inventory public?
I’ve been using Steam’s own market data and calculating manually. It’s tedious but accurate. The problem is that it doesn’t include items not listed on the market, like some old operation skins
I prefer using browser extensions because they’re faster. But many of them are bloated with ads. Anyone know a lightweight one that just shows total value?

This might help you :)

https://steamdb.info/calculator/
Has anyone tried the website that shows your inventory worth based on Buff prices? I heard Buff has better liquidity than Steam, but I’m not sure if they track Dota items
It's worth $22.91 us dollars. The ban makes it basically worthless
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
