How much is my CS inventory worth ?
I’ve been playing CS since 2015, and over the years I’ve accumulated a pretty large inventory – skins, stickers, cases, even some old souvenir items. The problem is, I have no idea what the total value is anymore
I tried a few things:
Manually checking the Steam market for each item → takes hours.
Some third-party sites → either ask for my API key (sketchy) or show prices from 2023.
Spreadsheets → too much maintenance.
With CS2 now fully out, many old tools don't work properly. For example, some sites still show "CS:GO" items as if they’re separate, and the cs2 inventory value is often wrong.
I just want to know:
🔹 How much is my CS inventory worth in total (Steam market price, not some weird overinflated third-party price)
🔹 A quick way to check cs2 skin prices without opening 10 tabs
🔹 Something that works directly on Steam but I don’t want to log into random websites
🔹 Bonus if it shows price history and float values
I heard about Steam Inventory Helper (SIH) from a friend. He said it adds a button on your Steam inventory page that shows total steam inventory value, per-item prices, and even lets you filter by price. But I have questions:
Is it safe? (I don’t want my account banned)
Does it really show csgo inventory worth for old items too?
How accurate is the cs2 inventory value calculator compared to actual market sales?
Any alternatives that are free and lightweight?
I’d appreciate honest opinions from people who actually use it daily. Also, if you know a way to check how much is my csgo inventory worth without installing anything – let me know. But so far, everything I tried either asks for too much or gives outdated prices
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I’m not a trader, just a collector who wants to know if I should sell before prices drop

Steam inventory helper extension on google chrome.

its an google chrome extension, nothing to log your steam account into. ive used it for years. It prices your skins according to steam market prices, your value is probably a bit less if you are going to sell the skins etc on thirdparty sites for real money as csfloat.

if you turn off private profile i can check for you

I just open each item in Steam and check the market price. Yeah, it takes time, but it's accurate. For a collection of 50 items, it's still bearable
For quick estimates, I sometimes go to a friend's profile and ask him to look at my skins through his browser extension - he has one, but I don't remember the name
why would u not go by third party prices? it's what everyone is using...

The best non-invasive option is Montuga.

Simply use your favorite browse to search "Montuga Steam Value"

You must make your Steam Profile and Inventory Public so the website can parse your inventory.

Select the specific inventory you want to analyze (Steam, CS2, TF2, Dota, etc)

Type in the Steam ID of the Steam Account you want to analyze

That's it.

No download.

No login.

Enjoy bro.

My inventory has 400+ items, can't count them manually. I use a script that pulls prices via Steam API, but that's for those who are into programming
Finally a solution without leaving Steam. I hate copying inspect links
I use the SIH extension - it adds a "value" button right on the inventory page. But it's not the only option, just convenient for me
