The Cheating-Issue is way overblown
Contrary to popular belief the cheater epidemic is way smaller than most posts in this forum would suggest. In my personal experience I meet a cheater maybe every few hundred games, but not as often as most people on here say.
In my opinion this is mostly because of the fact that alot of people in the CS2-Community have a rather large ego and cant handle the fact that another player could be better than them and so he must be a cheater, so their fragile egos dont get hurt.

Does anybody here share my opinion?

I think in high trustfactor it definitely is overblown, since most games in high trustfactor are free of cheaters. In low trustfactor there is a lot of cheaters, but thats probably by design.

If you decided to invest a few thousand Euros into your Loadout people might believe you are not a cheater or a bot sweeping for cheaters.

Because your Steam Account fits 100% of the critera for a 'Bot Farm' you will find that nobody respects or values your opinion - as accounts similar to yours are used by malicious bad-actors to create a false-consensus on these forums.

From my perspective as an individual who has been playing Counter Strike since BEFORE STEAM EXISTED - I have personally NEVER seen any CS game so thorougly infested with botters and cheaters.

In fact, the only game I have ever seen so completely infested with botters is Team Fortress 2; not even Blizzard allowed Diablo2 to devolve into this.

Trust factor doesn't exist.

Are you accusing him of being a cheater just because his opinion is different 😂

What an interesting interpritation.. fascinating..

On a related note (in an esoteric sense); why do you currently have a Bayonet Doppler and Cobalt Wraps prominently displayed on your Steam Profile's Item Showcase when they are no longer owned by you?

Curious why someone would pretend they still own a couple mid-teir items? :kindofgood:

Are you serious? I was literally just saying that I don't meet so many cheaters anymore... it's easy to convince yourself that this is that and that is that but sometimes u unconsciously lose yourself in certain beliefs or ideas...

Yeah, I think he might be a bit biased. And it certainly is hard to consider different viewpoints for such an individual. But if people would be more open and take things less personal, we would all be better off.
main account almost no cheaters in games, however almost all of my alt accounts cheater in every second game.

the issue is a little different with alt accounts. one game all chill you make lots of kills and some wallbangs + smokes and you get mass reported. then you need to play some games with and against cheaters and you get back to normal lobbies. and the cycle begins anew.:MrBlasterAlien:

I only have two accounts, but my experiences on both of them are pretty good

as long as you bought something in shop or market worth 300-500$ you have perma green on alt accounts. i got that on this account and one other account. rest of my accounts are like a metronome switching between green and red.
