Look, Valve doesn’t care about your false cooldown, they’ve already had 3-4 updates in the past month and none of the updates have anything to do with the sensitive VAC 3.0 AI behavior watcher.

Also, CS2 has had the lowest amount of online players for the past 8 months and it’s getting worse.

My suggestion, play something else for the next couple months, touch base with grass and don’t forget about the people you live in the same house with.

youve made a very good and valid point buddy. i honestly cant even fathom how much worse CS could possibly get between the game mechanics, the VAC system and a player base thats already poor and only continuing to deteriorate

I think the false cooldown problem is blown out of proportion. There are too many reports from very new and empty profiles. It feels like cheaters are just crying on alts.

I also do not know anyone who would recive a cooldown, but that is of course anecdotal.

The new 3v3 mode does not seem to be played a lot by long term players.

Chicken's felt insulting at the time they were added when the AC was in horrible condition.

I think if Valve would really want bring back some of the casual part of the player base they would need to make operation with PvE missions like in previous operations.

Yeah, this decision from valve is almost similar to Putin and Netanyahu way of pushing agendas, it seems like a world wide phenomena where every political or business entity is flexing their iron fists.

I have never gotten a false-positive like this before on any game and I was playing counterstrike while you were in a diaper. Anyway, i dont care, I only play this game when my friends invite me.

I’ve been playing this game for the past 10 years or so, 20 years if you count CS 1.6.

Never have I ever needed to go to a discussion forums for anything related for this game, maybe once to see how this game runs on the steam-deck. I didn’t see any posts about VAC bans, cooldowns or cheaters fake crying injustice 3-4 years ago when I came here to ask about steam deck compatibility with the global offense transition to pre-CS2.

3 years later, playing the same way I’ve always played, im here begging for help and screaming into a void it seems.

This game was my decompression after work, even though I solo queue and get bad teammates the majority of the time I still find moments and rounds where I feel complete and can end the game and be happy afterwords because it just hits the spot even from a couple rounds of owning even if we lose badly, the jumping scout headshot, or multiple spam spot or wallbang kills, it’s satisfying.

Valve took that away from me.

I'm not saying cooldowns don't happen or even that all of them are correct but if you check the accounts from which those claims are posted I usually see copy and pasted forum threads, account made in 2026, some with boosted hours or hidden Leetify profiles.
