VAC-бан в CS2 не работает должным образом — банят легитных игроков

Получил VAC-бан, хотя читы никогда не использовал. И судя по форуму, это сейчас не единичный случай — жалоб на ложные баны стало очень много.

Проблема в том, что VAC по факту не работает нормально: он банит легитных игроков, которые просто играют в игру, а не читеров. Поддержка Steam стандартно отвечает, что VAC-баны не обжалуются, и человек остаётся с баном без реальной возможности доказать, что он чист.

Сейчас на форуме куча сообщений о том, что люди получают VAC-бан без читов. Это уже похоже не на отдельные ошибки, а на то, что система работает неправильно.

Если у вас была такая же ситуация — отпишитесь здесь. Чем больше жалоб будет видно, тем выше шанс, что на это обратят внимание.

I received a VAC ban, even though I have never used cheats. And judging by the forum, this is not an isolated case right now — there are a huge number of complaints about false bans.

The problem is that VAC is effectively not working correctly: it bans legitimate players who are just playing the game, instead of actual cheaters. Steam Support gives the standard response that VAC bans cannot be appealed, leaving a person banned with no real way to prove they are clean.

Right now, there are tons of posts on the forum about people getting VAC banned without cheating. This no longer looks like isolated mistakes, but rather that the system is working incorrectly.

If you have experienced the same situation — reply here. The more complaints are visible, the higher the chance that this will get noticed.

same here i play mostly rifle awp and ssg, got my 2nd ban one weak this time. and the 2nd time on D2 i guess when you shoot true the mid door your flag i am not a pro but i touch like 70% people behind this mid door i guess that the cause of my flag
Now i have to wait one weak my rank is rebooting it's no like i play on D2 for 20 year !!

уже третий раз получил бан, первый раз на 20 часов из-за игры в команде с игроком который подозрительно играл, и у него не было читов, второй раз тоже самое но уже на 7 дней, при том что забанили типа который был лоутабом, а третий раз уже меня через мою хорошую игру с АВП на 31 день, кайф что сказать. Читеров нихера не банят зато игроков которые просто умеют играть считает читерами)

He is clearly not cheating. I am also not cheating, but i get banned because i joined a random lobby with a player that gets banned. What has that todo with me? I play with 4 randoms and i also get banned. For what? Because i use their stupid option "Looking to play".

VAC and VACNet are two different things.

Secondly I don’t recommend toggling mouse sense while scoping because that is bypassing an intended game mechanic. VACNet will pick that up as cheating behavior (because it is).

Don’t smurf.

Don’t spin at a high rate of speed.
