Smart wallhack users are bypassing VacNet
Because smart wallhackers dont wallbang, only Chinese XP farming bots spin hack, wallbang, jumpshot and aimbot all at once and that is what the VacNet AI is trained to give cool downs to.

Unfortunately that means wallbanging and spam spot get triggered by VacNet even if you know every wall bang and spam spot and then if you’re using the scout to do all them and including jump shots in your scout play then you’re really going to get triggered and flagged for a cool down.

What's the point of this post
a wallhacker doesn't even have to be smart to just be told to not shoot through smokes and wallbang and prefire by his cheat provider and stop doing that

just has to be not very impulsive

in reality there are still lots of rage hackers though, almost nobody uses just wallhack, it has to be at least aimbot+triggerbot, they especially love it on deagle.

and vac live cooldowns are handed out to legit players on a pretty much random basis. the only real correlation I've noticed and could prove is network connection quality and trust factor — people with low trust to begin with and worse packet loss get banned much more often despite not doing well at all, without even spamming wallbangs with scouts, and obviously not cheating.

also, is your name, "Counter-Deck", referencing how often CS2 breaks on the Steam Deck with updates? :D

I mean yeah rage hacking is a thing but xp farm bots are more by number, rage hacking isnt going to get your chicken to come up if you only do it when you get owned.

My name is for CS2 I play on the steam deck but yes so many updates in the past did not care for the steam deck yet valve made it.

right… well anyway ideally VACnet will be able to catch farming bots' patterns in the distant future and also ban gameplay anomalies that legit players never do or almost never do (such as sending impossible packets constantly and then killing, or just consistently hitting "lucky" shots) — things that are hard to tell just by looking at a gameplay recording without thorough tick and subtick data analysis — and then at some point when (and if this point ever comes at all) cheaters will realize that there's no point in using anything but wallhack, I still think that some form of manual human gameplay review (overwatch) has to come back but somehow without getting botted like the last time of course.
there are many things obvious to humans that are most likely never going to be obvious to AI because of differences in how input is received (and processed!), but there are also many things that take humans a lot of time to figure out that AI solves right away.
and at that point maybe also start hunting cheats online the old way and add them to classic VAC database, if that will still be relevant

as for the bots I wish valve could just allow case drops for community servers so that they could farm them there just like it was in CSGO instead of making all players suffer from them.
like, they had a problem and they needed to face it and fix it, but they just also decided to show this problem to all of their players. and make them suffer from it for years.
was it really so bad for the skin market

(regarding the name again) thanks :D so they aren't breaking it anymore you're saying?… that's cool finally
