VACNET Lobby Penalty System is Absurd: I Got a 181-Day Ban Just Because Someone Else Got Hit by VacNet!
I have never cheated, never used any hacks, and I have never received a single individual VacNet ban in my life. Despite that, because of a completely broken system in CS2, I am currently slapped with a 181-day ban!
The absurdity of this system works like this:
If someone in your lobby gets hit by VacNet during a match, the system automatically pins it on you just for being in that lobby. But it gets even worse: after your penalty ends, even if you queue solo or play in a random lobby and some complete stranger gets hit by VacNet, the system doesn't reset—it keeps multiplying and stacking the penalties.
How on earth am I supposed to know what a random person I match or queue with is running in the background? Getting penalized, having those penalties stack up, and ultimately reaching a 181-day ban just because of other people's actions—actions that I had nothing to do with—is a complete and utter injustice.
Punishing innocent players for months because of random people they happened to play with, and automatically multiplying penalties like this, is a terrible anti-cheat design. Valve urgently needs to fix and rethink this absurd lobby penalty stacking system!
