faceit issue please help

cant launch anti cheat cause says i need latest windows security update i have all of them from before up until this one that i CAN NOT DOWNLOAD.

tried deleting caches, tried going on microsoft and doing the installer from there i updated my bios i updated literally everything i could so now i think i just gotta reinstall windows unless someone else can help me with suggestions on what could the possibility be cause i got an idea but now just no clue and will probably look this up later lol i just want to play faceit and the finals.

will update along the way i already tried doing this and it just failed but gonna keep trying

That sounds like browser or system issue not Microsoft. I can open the website fine, try opening it on your phone and then downloading there and transferring files to ur pc

do you think norton vpn could be blocking this? i just got the website to work now and installer finally this happened to me before but now when i download it just says it needs other updates and it failed but i got all updates im just scrolling thru brave now lol

im honestly just gonna safe boot and try this again and hopefully it works it says recommend 10-15gb plus which i have way more than that but i got no clue lol im just searching away at this point

Wrongly configured norton or its firewall could have that issue systemwide

hey i appreciate the help honestly im gonna go into bios and safe boot this and see if it works just tried deleting some caches and other services.msc then gonna look into norton configuration cause i never downloaded it and i cant uninstall it either i got ratted or its just on there lol cause before i never installed norton and never will but looks like it came with a windows update seriously no clue lol. but i do appreciate the kindness alot

Norton is so bad they provide special tool to uninstall that malware they call antivirus

I dont use norton so I dont know if they have their own built in firewall or do they just modify the one that windows uses by default

Word to the wise, KB5124008 (25H6) is only available in the Windows Insider Pre-Release channel, so the people running FACEIT need to roll back their update to the normal release ring....

elaborate? makes sense but a lil confused lol cause on cs2 ive been asking people and they say they installed the update fine and my system is 25H2 so again still no clue either something corrupt on my computer that i either did something with microsoft pc manager or like what you said windows insider pre release but no clue lol

Ignore him, the update is available on 24H2, 25H2 and 26H2. 26H2 is pre-release version as it's part of windows insider program.

Just download the normal 25H2 from the link I provided or Windows Update

hey to update what fully happened i fixed basically everything on my computer i had a corrupted windows image and iso file my media player was corrupted so messed up a bunch of updates and i got it all to work finally so my computer is working again like brand new!
