bug or am i just a dumbass?

for some reason, i play on 4.9 sens with 800 dpiwhich feels pretty standard to me, but i have heard most people play on 0.6 - 1.25, and when i try, i use the entire mousepad, (about 36 cm) and i only get about 200 degrees, and i feel as slow as a slug. is this normal and im just used to really high sens, or is there something wrong?

So you can basically spin around 6 times with one swoop of the mouse? I don’t see why that would ever be needed

you are wrist aiming, and when you switch to a normal sense, you are arm aiming instead.
It feels slow because you aren't used to arm aiming, but it can be learned in a week or so.
Arm aiming is better because it will greatly improve your crosshair placement at the cost of flicking, but flicking is not as important as crosshair placement

I don't see why you'd ever need to turn more than 180° in a single swipe across the whole range of your mousepad. It would just mean you turned in the wrong direction. I play 800dpi, 1.25 sens

It comes down to preference. If you never want to lift your mouse, I guess your edpi works. I think you're handicapping yourself when it comes to micro adjustments and tracking players, which is more important in this game than spinning around

Well if someone comes behind you and your mouse is in the middle of the mousepad you would only be able to turn 100 degrees.
