FACEIT AC "Please enable DMA Protection" error on Win 11 25H2 (Ryzen 5 8400F / MSI B650)
Hey everyone. I'm stuck with the "Please enable DMA Protection" error on FACEIT Anti-Cheat. It also logs me out every single time I restart it. FACEIT support confirmed that my profile has "Account-specific security requirements", so I must have it enabled.
My Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F (AM5)
Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-E (Latest BIOS version 7E28v2E with AGESA updated)
GPU: RTX 5060
OS: Windows 11 Insider Preview (Version 25H2)
What I've already tried:
1. Enabled Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, and IOMMU / AMD-V in BIOS. Integrated graphics is disabled.
2. msinfo32 shows: Kernel DMA Protection — ON.
3. Core Isolation / Memory Integrity and Virtual Machine Platform are all turned ON.
4. Time and time zone are perfectly synced.
5. Tried setting Policy to 2 in registry (DmaSecurity folder), cleared AppData/Local cache for FACEIT.
This setup worked completely fine before the BIOS update. It seems like the FACEIT driver conflicts with the new IOMMU tables on the latest 25H2 insider kernel.
Has anyone found a workaround or registry tweak for this on 25H2, or is a clean rollback to stable Windows 24H2 the only option? Thanks!

Turn on any extra options like DMA Protection or DMAr Support if you see them.If you have an Intel CPU: Go to the Advanced tab or System Agent (SA) Configuration, locate VT-d, and set it to Enabled. Enable Pre-boot DMA Protection if it is available.

I was just wrestling with this problem myself, and I found a solution.

Да, трабл был в том, что не стояла включенной эта настройка Enable Pre-boot DMA Protection if it is available, ибо мой резанный биос не показывал ее, только через поиск нашел
you guys need to enable SVM and Safe Boot in your bios if you are on an AMD chipset and using an MSI mobo. it's super easy to do and no risk.
I had the same issue, MSI PRO B650-P WIFI. I needed to update BIOS to latest firmware 7D78v1M1 -> 7D78v1M2 and then re-enable IOMMU, and DMA settings. I can now play FACEIT again.
