UMP vs. MP9

They have a very similar price and i'm not sure which one to use.

Best SMG other than P90 imo

Use the one that feels the best to you. Ump is a 45 so it has more stopping power, but it only has 25 round magazines. The MP9 has higher rate of fire and 30 round mags so it is kind of 6 of one and half dozen of the other. pick the one tha feels better.

In situations when you have about 1.3k, saving is usually a better choice, especially on Dust II.

Assuming you get a few kills with an smg, it's better than not buying anything.

I must be the only one who actually uses the MP9 lol. After I got a 4k spray in tunnel I will never back away from it :P

UMP is for armored opponents

mp9 is for unarmored

if you won pistol and the other team didn't really get any kills or plant bomb, I almost always get the mac10/mp9

I like the bizon my self. it is cheap and with 64 rounds most player have to reload 2 times before I do. And they are dead before they can get to number 2.

UMP, I love it personally but the CZ/P250 seems to be better with armor for sure.

UMP is more consistent at range. i would opt for that if guarding a place like dust2 long A. the mp9 recoil is too difficult to control even though it is better vs unarmored players.

Assumptions mean nothing, and even if you get a kill with the MP9(more often you won't against a full-bought team), you'll still be down $250, or $1250 if you bought armor too. CZ/p250 + Armor is a better investment, or just save.

+1 Deagle/armor or p250-CZ-75/ armor is my go to for saves or ecos when i have 3000+

the UMP is cheaper and has better helmet pen, 2 headshots at close-medium range

I use the UMP kinda like a rifle, tap, and go for longer range engagements. The mp-9 is the complete opposite, its like the little brother of the p90. Use it in cqb and spray.

UMP is accurate, while MP9 has high fire rate. Use the UMP if you want to engage from a moderate distance, MP9/MAC10 if you want to run up and straight out shoot them. But P90 is much better for the job, if you have the money.
