SSG-08 skins scope bug

I have noticed for some time that all of the skins for the scout have exactly the same scope, a black one which is looking very "Factory new". First I thought that it was just the was it was supposed to be but yesterday when I checked out the scout "Slashed" I saw that the scope on it should be colored in the same way as the rest of the rifle. But in-game it still has the same black scope as every other scout. Therefore it must be a bug I think.

The skins I have found so far with this problem are:
- Slashed
- Tropical Storm
- Blue Spruce
- Lichen Dashed
- Mayan Dreams

Have anyone else noticed this or is the scout so unused that everyone accepts/ignores this?

Same here. What's your OS? I think only some OS have this issue.

Windows 8.0. Do you know of some people who does not have this problem?

The world model shows the scope as colored, it's an oversight.

Yes but it should'nt be too hard to fix right? And it's been around for quite some time.

Some people don't seem to be experiencing the problem.

And it's not OS dependent, I'm using a Mac. I thought it was a Mac-only kind of issue since I don't hear much about it.

Well thats wierd. I remember having the same bug when I played on my Mac too... Is there any way of making Valve aware of this bug?

I doubt it was meant that way. It's unlikely that Valve would intentionally make the view model differ from the world model.

I guess reporting to them is the best way to let them know.

This is a bug which has been around for a while, they used to have coloured scopes but a few months ago, maybe more, a patch was released that broke it. I'm fairly certain the pictures above are very old, so they were not suffering from the bug.

The same is seen with the P90 Magazine on some skins, e.g look at the Desert one that came with the Huntsman, coloured on the image but not in-game.
