CS:GO - skins rarity

Hello guys - i need some help. I understand the thing, that for example M4A4 Asiimov (field tested) looks better than M4A4 Asiimov (Battle scarred). But why do people keep saying something like this: "I want to sell my M4A4 Asiimov (field tested), but it looks like factory new"?

I have also seen people on forums write that they dont want to buy that skin from that specific person because they dont like the colors? Could someone explain it

The pattern varies on some skins.
"Looks FN" is mostly sale speech, since all FT asiimovs do, but all the exteriors vary a bit, some look more worn than others.

because most of the time FIELD TESTED weapon looks like FACTORY NEW,and some MINIMAL WEAR looks like WELL WORN,so it doesn't really matter if it is field tested as long as the skin is good as factory new,but only few people know that,field tested is more cheaper in the market but you will be surprise that it looks like factory new

But i saw some people on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who wanted to trade their Asiimov for another Asiimov (both were field tested), so it doesnt really make sense to me. The guy who made the trade, even said, that he would give some keys aswell if needed, he just wanted to get a nice looking Asiimov. Remember, they were both field tested, the one he had, and the one he wanted.

Each item has an individual amount of wear, some may have more or less wear and year than others.

well in my opinion I don't really care what it looks like, if it doesn't say Factory New I'm not buying it

except for guns that don't have FN variants.
