Overlay keeps closing itself while ingame
While I'm in CS:GO, SHIFT-TABBING the overlay and then trying to use browser or market, or basically do anyhthing that involves clicking or scrolling, makes my overlay instantly close. Not crash. Just close, as if I X'd out of it.

I have searched this issue on google and the fixes do not work. The only real advice someone had was "opt out of Steam beta" well, funny thing, I've always been out of it. That's
s not fiixing it.

um... No.

I have a 1920x1200 monitor for a reason.

And that can't be the only fix.

I have this problems but only a few times and it fixes on its own after a few tries. Is your problem temporary?

No it's been ongoing for a while now, most Steam games.

I find it incredibly odd that no source provides any info on this problem. Theolder steam forums had a thread, but the thread died before anyone gave an answer. I find it incredibly strange indeed. I'm going to keep bumping. It pisses me off because it shouldn't be happening.

for me it causes my game to straight up crash, no error or any thing, just direct to my desktop. I did find a way around it, I go to the inventory tab and click the marketplace button.
But to close the overlay I have to use the 'Click here to return to the game' link at the top.
Yeah it is a massive pain in the ass, but its not ment as a fix just a workaround, one that only works at the menus. So yeah valve needs to address this issue ASAP. Also I started to have it happen some time in april

Good news: It can be fixed.

Bad news: I fixed it a long time ago and can't remember how :(

I use NVIDIA Geforce Experience and I THINK one of my updates through that did something. Don't quote me on that.

Best of luck to anyone still having this issue.
While this thread may be dead, i am still having this issue... I haven't found any help from google, as this is the most recent thread.... Can any1 provide assistance?

OK here we go! Why not playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game while in game and if you like to do sometihng in market just do it after your game? I wish i would have your problems ...

for me worse with graphical sites and better with simple sites My guess is some kind of check to see if some limit of memory is reached I don't have a lot on the rig it happens on and no problems on the rig that has a lot of memory
