How to turn fast without mouse accel?
Hello, this my second discussion about this issue i'm having... when i have mouse acceleration on i always turn fast because basically the mouse accel moves when my hands move the mouse fast exactly. but the side effect it ruins my muscle memory and makes my aim inconsistant and however without the mouse accel my aim 100% consistent and accurate in pinpointing too.. but the side effect of that is i wont be able to turn as fast as when i'm having the mouse accel on and its super slow!!!... i see a lot of CS GO pros turns super fast even almost faster than mouse accel turned on and 100% accurate without having a mouse acceleration. and their aim is just amazing. how is that possible ? they don't even have mouse accel on. please give a solution
my set up is...
Razer Taipan Mouse
Razer Goliathus Speed Edition (Big mouse mat)
DPI 400
In-Game sensitivity 1.85
Windows Sensitivity 6/11

They practice and use the same sensitivity for a LONG time until they feel comfortable with it.
You should practice with bots, adjust your in-game sensitivity to your preference. If you feel like it's too slow, raise your sensitivity in game. If it's too fast, lower it. If that doesn't help, play around with windows sensitivity as well.

You can still turn fast without mouse acceleration, just amp up your sensitivity.

Best of luck to you. :-)

Thanks for replying this discussion. yeah a lot of games doesn't mouse acceleration. but i got used to it though i used to play on 3.8 in-game sensitivity just to turn fast. and honestly still that was more consistent than using mouse accel. ill take few days to get used to 1.85 sensitivity then. one more question should i use mouse raw input? i have the MarkC mouse accel fix already in-place.

Try moving your mouse with your arm forward from the elbow. Moving your mouse with just your wrist sin't enough on low sensitivity.

Use raw mouse input, turn off acceleration, turn off 'enhance pointer precision' in windows mouse options too. Adjust from there. As long as you can do a 180 turn in one sweep.

Keep in mind that pros use big mouse surfaces and have a lot of room to move around. Yes, it's better to have lower sens in CS for precision, but that only goes so far. There is such thing as too slow. Use what's comfortable to you and keep practicing. Here's a chart of the pros' settings.
