sorry for replying so late but this fixed it for me
First : You start Nvidia Geforce Experience.
Second : Go on Games,
Third : Go on Counter Strike: Global Offensive,
Fourth: Go on Optimize.
And if it doesnt work either go and update your Processor.
Follow this path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\yourID\730\local\cfg
It is important to note that 'yourID' may not be what you think it is. There are usually 3 to 5 folders after you chose 'userdata.' One will be anonymous, a few will be something like '732489' or other random numbers and one folder might have your name or a games name on it. GO INTO ALL OF THOSE FOLDERS THAT HAVE A 730 FOLDER. CLICK LOCAL AND JUST DELETE EVERYTHING. It might be just one. It might be five folders, but do it for every folder that contains a 730 sub folder and in that 730 folder delete the local folder. THEN AND ONLY THEN, open up steam. Go to your library, right click on cs go, verify integrity of game files, it will find some missing because you just deleted them. Once you do that, the game will perform the first time setup and u can go inspect your skins and see that it has been fixed.
*note the reason why updating graphic drivers sometimes fixes this is because sometimes amd and nvidia release drivers, those files get deleted and your game will get fixed, but that's not a guarantee.
*Note one of the solutions was to delete a video file was technically correct, but he gave the wrong file path. If that video file gets deleted, nothing really changes except you might go to default resolution in your cs go game.
Everyone I have told to do it this way has agreed that this worked. And again sorry for reviving an old thread, but this is the first Google result and therefore must have a correct answer so people can quickly fix their problems. If for some reason this doesn't work and you found a better solution please post it, but I myself and 4 of my friends in cs go have fixed it this way.
Thanks and glhf
