Disconnect: VAC authentication error.

hello,

on my other account i got a 24 hour matchmaking ban because i got an error saying:
An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system

and in console it says: Disconnect: VAC authentication error.

-what's this?
-how do i fix it?

Repair the Steam Service
This may also indicate a Steam Service failure. Please try repairing the Steam Service:

(If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.)

This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes.
Launch Steam and test the issue again.

I DID THE FOLLOWING

Click Start > Run (Windows Key + R)
Type the following command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair

(If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.)

And after that you should disable DEP in BIOS and Enable it in Windows.

They should have it whereby if you're banned because of this bug, and you have proof, they delete the bans.

It's not a permanent fix for me but it's worked for others I know. Thanks for your effort though.

Mates been having the same problem and contacted steam. As expected the response was far from helpful.

Our records indicate that your Steam account is *not* VAC banned. However server administrators may ban you from a particular server - we cannot prevent this. Server operators have control over who they allow to play in their servers.

You will not be banned by the VAC system unless your account is used to cheat.
seasons: yeah that makes perfect sense as its steams own servers that are causing the problem.

Vac banned was never mentioned but the fact that you are randomly disconnected from servers / matches.

Maybe with all the money we all spend on steam they should pull their fingers out of the each others rektom and fix this for everyone

they cant be serious letting this issue happen 4 months now, this is a debacle for everyone who wants to play csgo...

i dont want to make a mountain out of a molehill but thats just not acceptable... i need to do this every day to play one proper game and mostly the second game im crashing.. thats not even funny anymore.

and even sometimes it doesnt work and i need to restart my computer.

seriously.. thats even worse than battlefield 4.
