How do I disable hints once and for all?

Every single time this game gets an update I start getting hints in game (hold F to inspect weapon, etc) which is extremely annoying and obtrusive. How do I remove them forever?

it's under game options,you can set it to on, off, and only new ones
hint: it's a new hint every round

Yeah, you can disable that and it's one of the first things i do after my every big update unistall/install game process, just to avoid some bugs. One day, I had to defuse bomb and the ''press e to disable bomb'' windows popped up and I had a battle with some ninja terrorist who attacked me and that window was making him barely visible and from that day, I don't take any chances (and yeah, I won that fight despite of this xd ).

Cheers, I used cl_autohelp 0 iirc but I guess it's something else.

Yip its cl_gameinstructor 0

Just have a look into your config file and search for that term and change to 0. Don't forget to make it write-protected when done.
