i heard same about battlefield 4 it boosts fps but right now im able to play csgo fine (FPS) and i havent started BF4 yet. (need bigger HD first)
Doesnt boost fps, but CPUs seem to respond beter on it. So in general is more smoother, atleast with BF4, havent noticed any diffrence with GO.
it boots up much faster and is also faster in windows desktop
Whelp I got these games that do not work
GTA IV
CS:GO
L4D2
I used to be able with 7, forced to update to 8.1 b/c of a corruption in the C: drive and yeah so I can't play the games. it just says I do whenever I click the game. Updated drivers, I don't know where to to turn, I have a inspiron 620 if that's the issue, only one I could afford, the graphics is a Intel(R) Family Graphics so that might be the issue but I could play before I updated to 8.1 so if you guys know really anything about this issue I'd love to know further more.
EDIT: Also just saying doing a fresh install is always better than an in place upgrade
