how many games does it take to rank up?

i just dont understand this game.... there have been times where i win 3 in a row and rank up, times where i win 4 in a row and rank up, but this past week has been rediculous and makes no sense cause i ranked up yesterday after winning 8 games in a row, it took me 8 wins in a row to rank up...

and today ive won 5 games in a row and still have not ranked up, i was top fragger 4 out of the 5 games too and still nothing.. so how exactly does this ranking ♥♥♥♥ work?

I find that if I play against higher ranked players I tend to rank faster. I've been playing a lot of games with my clan, and because a lot of them are lower ranked, we get lower rank matches overall, and despite winning a lot of them, I'm not really upranking much.

Tango I've played 50 games and not ranked up or down, you aren't meant to rank up easily and if you do it's because it doesn't know your stats and each game gives it a bigger and bigger pool to pull stats from which means it'll eventually be very rare for you to change rank at all unless you just stop playing.

Your win to lose ratio factors in slightly to a rank up or down.

If you lose three an win four right after you may rank up depending upon the teams you faced overall ranking. When you derank, from what ive seen your win to lose ratio is reset for next rank up or derank.

Your current rank matters. Higher the rank the more wins it requires to rank up. Strength of the opposing team and your own team factors in.

Went up to 'IV' then 'Elite' then 'Elite Master' then 'Elite' then 'Elite Master' then 'Elite' then 'Elite Master' then 'Elite' and i'm back to 'Elite Master' now. Still haven't even got to Gold. 129 wins. Hopeless. Think i've only gone on win streaks of 4 or 5 matches twice.Today i was up against all golds except one other silver guy and one guys was honestly gold nova 4. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if i know how it works. I'd say i'm being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over but i would say that wouldn't i.. Good luck to you.

I regularly beat silvers. Today i was supposed to beat golds. I'm losing the logic here..

gold nova master... and to give you an update i just won another game that puts me at 6 wins in a row and i still havent ranked up.. this last game we played against aks

It depends on what rank you and your team are, and what rank the enemy is. it depends on who wins/loses/draws and the score you have. for example if a silver 4 plays with loads of master guardians, against master guardians and the silver's team wins, theres a good chance of ranking up (or being close to ranking after another match or two). if you recently have lost a few games, but not deranked, i believe ranking up takes longer due to the previous losses!. if you draw, depending on how well you did score wise, you can either rank up, down or stay the same rank. In terms of normal comp play, if you win, and have a pretty good score each game (if you're playing against people your level) then ranking up should take around 5 games, however the higher your level the slower the leveling process (I BELIEVE, DONT TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL :P)

im fairly certain score has nothing to do with it is strictly win/loss cause when i play with friends and i am top fragger i dont rank up before them we usually all rank up at the same time
