Nah, if you really enjoy the game, and you don't really need anything that much that you can buy for that money - why the hell not.

In the end I can sell it back for real money or for other stuff in steam items/games.

Will prices drop for knives when new knives come out (shape) or new Skin? And if it's shape, how certain are you that the prices will drop? If it's skin, I don't think the prices will drop cause look at fireserpent or redline awp, the prices of those items didn't drop after the ak redline and awp asiimov came out.

I don't know if it's just me or not but when I look at the fire serpent's (MW) lifetime graph, the price seemed to have fluctuated a lot rather than only drop. Also even the cheapest one is still selling at $58(after feb 21st where the ak redline came out).
