How Do You Toggle Crouch In CS:GO?

Please post below if you know a way to toggle crouching in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps i didnt explain this as well. I need to hold down CTRL to crouch. I want to change this so that when i press controll i stay crouched, and when i press it again, i stand up.

you can not, you have to hold it

Here is how you script it yourself, but you can just use the built in toggle.

//autoexec.cfg

alias duck_tog duck_on
alias duck_on "+duck; alias duck_tog duck_off"
alias duck_off "-duck; alias duck_tog duck_on"

bind "key" "duck_tog"

Here is one for a walk toggle. You can also use the built in toggle.

//autoexec.cfg

alias vol_low "volume 0.85"
alias vol_high "volume 1.00"

alias walk_tog walk_on
alias walk_on "+speed; vol_high; alias walk_tog walk_off"
alias walk_off "-speed; vol_low; alias walk_tog walk_on"

Idk why but in my csgo when i press shift , i have to press it again to stop.
I dont want that so how can i fix it?

Well I have the opposite problem. I don't how it happened but whenever I changed the option for crouch to toggle or hold it just doesn't let me hold my button... whenever I hit my crouch button it just holds for me & I DON'T want that. I want to crouch while holding the button & when I let go it goes back up to standing. :/

go into your game settings i believe and you can change it there
