Shift doesn't work ! ONLY IN CS:GO !

Hey guys, my shift button isn't working, but only in CS:GO. In every other game and anywhere else it works. It kinda sucks, i can't walk anymore and i can't open the steam overlay.

Anyone got help?

Just an idea, but maybe walk isn't binded and the Steam overlay disabled? :p

nope... i didn't unbind anything, didnt change anything. Shift works properly everywhere else, just not in CS:GO

Yes, but it doesnt work then, it also doesnt work if i press shift in the binding Options menu.

What kind of keyboard are you using, the game might disagree with its existance.

I found the fix: Steam Settings > Beta Participation > Steam Beta update.
That fixed it for me, but i have no clue how, and why -_-"

Same there. Hate this buggy game allready. Don't work shift until alt+tab, then work normaly.

Same here, works everywhere else but CSGO it doesn't let me bind it to anything as it doesn't pick it up in CS go

If you say that shift doesn't work, then try to use shift when typing something in csgo chat :D
The Problem isn't in shift, the problem is command "walk"
Solutions (If you can use shift in csgo chat)

1. Type -walk in console
   
2. Type 'bind SHIFT +walk' in console
   
3. Bind walk manualy in csgo menu

If it didn't help... well I have no time to think about other clues :v

The command is bind SHIFT +speed for some reason, idk why, it really annoyed me as well
