Console command to select primary steam group?

I was wondering if there was a console command for your team tag. Something cl_steamgroup_teamtag "n", where n is a number representing which group from the list you want as your tag. Anything? The reason I'm asking is I don't want to disconnect from a matchmaking lobby to change this setting.

its cl_clanid .. but ... you need to know the clan id number

so.. while ingame, change your clan tag, exit out of game, open your config.cfg and write down your clanid number

do this for all the clans you wish to be able to change to

then either type it in console, or make bind keys for each.

What would the bind be, Ive tried: bind w cl_clanid(number here) but it didnt work

you need a space in between the variable and the value, and to use it inline with a bind you have to use quotes: bind w "cl_clanid 69420"

You use this command in you config file: cl_clanid "Your team name exactly" and save it, put the config file back to read-only and its done!

SOLUTION

1. Go in-game

2. Select your clan tag in SETTINGS > GAME > STEAM GROUP CLAN TAG

3. Type in console just "cl_clanid"

4. It will give you a number, copy that number

5. Type "cl_clanid" into your console and paste that number next to it

6. Example: cl_canid 4328795
