When you download your own demos in-game you can browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\replays, find the demo you want (check date modified) and just zip this up and send it to a friend. They can then put the demo in the cs:go folderand type "playdemo xxx.dem" in console to watch it.

The link someone sent to you was probably the demo uploaded somewhere.

when you download ingame, goto your downloaded tab, select the demo you want to share, click scoreboard, at the bottom there is a link you can share so they can download it.

Did not know that :) That's far easier for sure.

There was an update some time ago which included the option to share a link to a match. Go to your matches and check the scoreboard, it should be there somewhere on the right-handed side of the screen.

P.S. The "clipboard" is some temporarily used RAM space that holds the last thing you copied by using Ctrl + C. If it is text, you can paste it into any text supporting programm (e-mail, browser adress field, Microsoft Word or Notepad etc.) by pressing Ctrl + V.

When you go into "your recent matches" there is a little button towards the top right that says "copy link to clip board" or "copy replay link to clip board" then send them the link so they can put it into their run

Jesus Christ kid the clip board just copies and pastes the link, have you ever used a computer in your life? just right click and click "paste" or click "control + v" where ever you need to put the link
