Mouse sensitivity in csgo
I am a relatively new player in CounterStrike series . I really love CS and wanna be good at it .. I asked tips for good aiming from some of my friends who are playing CS for 5-6 years , and they all told me to use as much low sensitivity as possible .
----------------------------------------------------------------
my current mouse sensitivity in csgo is
3.6 ingame, (400 dpi, 6/11 windows )
zoom_sensitivity_ratio 1.0
----------------------------------------------------------------

So my question is - "Is this sensitivity too high for precise aiming? and awping ?" or I have to lower it even more ?

please don't post usual comments-- " there are no perfect sensitivity , everyone have their choice - bla bla bla" . I know all that ,And I tried sensitivity ranging from 1.0 to 6.0 .. anything below 2.0 feels tooo slow and anything above 5.0 feels too fast . and everything between that range feels equally effective- I cant decide....
I am new to FPS,and wanna choose a sensitivity and stick with it , give me some guidance . thank you

If you cant tell the difference between 2 and 5, wouldnt it not matter if you just go for the middle (3.5)??

I just go for 6 for windows, 2 in game and 400 dpi. works for me.
Not Sure, but I think I play with:
mouse input raw 1
Windows 6
Sensitivity 3
no mouse acceleration
dpi 1200 (Logitech G400s)
for me it's important to make a 180 turn fast, when sb. wants to pick me via dog-tax. I increased the mouse signal rate to max, so also aiming is very precise....

i have no idea what my sensitivity is but i try to keep it so when move my mouse from one side of pad to another i turn about 200 degrees. im using qck heavy, 450mm wide. of course i cant use all that space so i use maybe 350mm of that pad. my mouse is razer imperator. its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse, dont buy it..

Logitech G9X 3500 DPI in game of 4.0

Very sensitive i like it being an old time unreal quake, 1.6 player. OP the best mouse is the one which is most comfortable, as well ones DPI level you can handle. Also turning up that ingame sens menu with low DPI, does not componsate for the low DPI, so its best to remain at 800-1500 on the low side and 2500-3500 on the high side if you're into sensitivity.

Youll have to play whit it, just adjust the sensivity untill you feel is the best for you (of course low) i play 1500 DPI and 0.6 ingame sens.
Just play deathmatch and try a few sensibs untill you feel comfortable. :csgocross:

as dice mentioned above, zoom sensitivity can be set to have its own, apart from your regular look with x-hairs sensitivity.

Personally I set my zoom sensitivity to about 75 % of my reg sensitivity

I have been changing mine a lot lately and im down to 400dpi on my logitech G500 gaming mouse. It has made a huge difference for me, but will say this every single time i change the dpi, It takes many games to adjust(get use to it) to it. Its like learning all over again. I dont think you can just change it and instatnly be adapted. Currently at 400dpi i find my aim is much better. Thats my experience anyways. GL&HF :csgohelmet:

400 CPI, Don't go over 3.1 sensitivity in-game.

I play at:
400CPI
2.7 Sensitivity
raw input on
mouse acceleration off

Im using Steelseries Rival, I had Logitech G5 before and used 2.5 Sensitivity. I feel a huge difference between optical and laser sensor.

Now idk about you, but i like to be able to use the same sensivity in every
game so it has to be high enough for other games as well.

I have my sensivity on 800 dpi btw my screen is 1920x1080
Ingame sensivity 2.1 or 4.2 with 400 dpi
Raw input = off why you may ask, normally i allways have raw input ON but in this game it seems to smooth the mouse, everyone inn Ninjas in pyjamas got it OFF except fifflaren
Obviously mouse accerlaration offf
and ofc 6/11 windows
And also turn off mouse accerlaration with you use windows

http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/ so you can have same sensivity in all games

I'm Legendary eagle
Got a g9x
And you might also wanna hotkey your grenades (if you haven't allrdy)
You can read my short guide
