CSGO is just random ♥♥♥♥. Of course first time you will like it, but after when you will reach good skill everything will depends on random. Just random. No need skill. You can play this for cases, but it's more hobbie then something else.

If you buy CS GO, be ready because there's a šhit-load of cheaters. Also, decide what is you're kind of FPS. Realistic (like AA3 which is free, or Arma) or action-arcade style as I call it.. CS GO has nothing to do with realism. So you have games crawling with snipers. 5 man team, 4 snipers. Best thing is, that snipers don't even have to be still to make the shot. They strafe and make amazing kills. My eye can't catch when they had target on spot, but they manage to do it. For me that's worst, snipers are a great advantage if you know how to play them. So it's like old games (winter olympics on commodore) where you would win if you could jerk joystick faster left-right. In my age, I'm really not anymore in tests of my finger skills or hand skils. I would say that most important thing is that you get good team or clan in CS so you can regulary play with them, so you're not stuck with bad players in regular matchmaking. Very often, no matter how good you are, if you're team is running around without idea, you will get killed in the end, and that will effect your stats and desire to play again. So, all in all, you should really test some FPS games (demos) before buying, then decide what type of FPS you want. Additional issue for me is slow and not that fast method of catching cheaters in CS GO. It's popular game, so it's crawling with them. You can report them all you want, but there's a treshold of number of reports to get overwatch investigating them. That means there are dudes that in their free time watch your game and then decide if guy cheats or not. In lower ranks they will often decide, "baah, it's bad on bad game" he got lucky shot. let's go to next game. so they get this "honour" of keeping servers clean for Valve and probably for free, but you can imagine, that with time they get bored watching newbies, and they really cant ban all of them, so maybe they random ban on or two, and others get a pass. So... even if you disregard my disgrutled mongering, you should still first try out few demos, and decide what is your niche of FPS games... ignore everything else, if you're amazing player and willing to dedicate 1000 of hrs to be the best, you'll have a blast in every game.
