The video makes it look easy. The dude I was playing with it did it every single round without fail, differing only in whether he did it immediately or whether he waited until after his buddy jumped down into the ladder room.

I practised it for so damn long
The easiest way to do it on vertigo is just to walk of off the ledge and then turn ~180 and aim for the rebar. Made it on my third try.
