Trade Up Contract with restricted grade (purple) weapons...
I tried to do it but they won't show up. I saw a video from November where they were able to trade up restricted weapons for one of the Classified grade weapons...could someone explain it to me?

Some purples are the highest in their family, so they can't trade up. Stat Traks can't be traded up either.

Based on a quick scan of your inventory, I assume you want to exchange up tec-9 red quartz. However in the train collection Tec-9 red quartz is the highest tier

So how do you know when a collection doesn't have higher than a Purple?

Next time do a quick google search :P Just go to the cs:go wiki for skins. Also in general contracting up loses you money

Use the contract in-game and it'll show how many color levels are there for each weapon you have.

I have this same problem. Im trying to trade up the PP Bizon Blue Streak and It wont let me...

iFNNz, StatTraks can't be used in trade contracts.

You can in fact use StatTraks. However, they cannot be mixed with regular skins. A contract can only be just regular, or just StatTrak (I'm not sure about the stars or souvs).

this is really lame...i have same problem with about 20 skins... i never would have gotten them had i known. i feel tricked and im sure others do too, it seems a fair assumption that unless otherwise stated up front the rules for tradeup would be uniform accross all tiers

Something they should add on market that could help a lot of people is instead of giving a description of the skin next it they should add a page of skins it could trade up to. dont know y they haven't felt like doing that, because i bought some cobalt quartz and a tec-9 skin and none of them can be used for a trade up. i feel cheated by steam for this.
