CS2: From Top Fragger to Bottom Feeder – What Happened?

I remember the days when I could carry my team in CS:GO, but ever since the switch to CS2, it's like I've forgotten how to shoot. Hit registration feels off, and don't get me started on the new smoke mechanics. One moment I'm hiding safely, the next I'm exposed because someone decided to throw a grenade.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a decline in their performance since transitioning to CS2? Are there specific settings or tweaks that can help regain that old form? Let's share tips and experiences to help each other out.

The mechanics in cs2 is very different, you cant hold angles at all, always be the guy peeking and taking the duel, also doing donk slides is very powerful, also a lot of A D A D and jiggling is powerful when holding angles just not sit still, rememeber move a lot, never stand still except if you are in a crossfire or a really good spot they wont clear, and try peek into them before they can peek onto you

The communication with the server is different, you used to have a very fast data transfer... now they add overlays ontop of overlays, and then you have a data checking system similar to BLACK OPS 6 which I LEFT FOR THIS... i have a clip of CAL-INVITE where on 60hz machines people could topfrag no problem and prefire no problem.

in addition, you used to have dedicated servers with admins that would pay to keep a clean game, now you have an XP SYSTEM and A OOOOOOH I SHOULD GAMBLE SYSTEM, which should make THE GAME BETTER BUT DOES ANY OF THIS MONEY GO BACK INTO THE GAME?
