Why Im Quitting Counterstrike

First I would like to point out I have roughly 11,000 hours in CSGO. I loved that game. Played it every day. Loved watching myself improve.

CS2 is just a terrible game. Flat out.

In CS2, the peekers advantage is so terrible. Its easily UP TO +.5s peekers, depending on random pings that can change during the course of a game. In CSGO I could reasonably play the game on FIBER internet OR just 'high speed' internet. My internet isnt even bad, either, its just not fiber.

CS2 requires I get a fiber internet connection to reasonably play the game at all. Or else I had better hit a first-frame headshot on every enemy who peeks me. Outside of that, any time someone peeks, depending on their latency, Im prob just dead regardless of how bad they are at aiming because they get to shoot me for free without me even seeing them.

CS2 decimated the first 'real' item I acquired. In CSGO I hand picked my knife, and the quality of it, and the color of it (which blade). I spent 2 entire weeks working to save up the money to buy it. Shadow Dagger: Sapphire was my choice. In CSGO every single time I looked at my item I thought to myself 'damn that looks sexy, I love this game'. I picked the item because it was PURPLE, my favorite color.

In CS2, the item isnt even purple anymore. How they could possible screw this up is beyond me. You know what sapphire knives DONT have this problem? All of the higher tier ones. The butterfly knife is still purple. People would throw a fit if their gorgeous knife was broken like mine was. Apparently, because I picked the wrong knife (not a fan favorite), its not worth fixing or saving. The knife USED TO BE perfect. PURPLE and MINT.

In CS2, my knife isnt even purple anymore. Its blue and black. Like some little kid got into his dads spray paints and decimated my item. When I bought the item I pressed "INSPECT ITEM" this isnt what I paid for. This isnt what I worked hard to acquire. Now, every time I look at my knife I think 'wow this game is horrible, what a joke', and it depresses me. I dont even want to look at it, Im just filled with disgust completely.

Ive told valve about it many times. The game has been out for so long. They flat out dont care.

Did any of you know your items colors could fundamentally change? Do you like YELLOW so you buy YELLOW items? Who knows, your fav item, one that you spend good money on, might someday RANDOMLY be a different COLOR. Fundamentally changed from the item you hand selected literally BECAUSE of its color.

What a joke. What a complete disaster.

They ruined the gameplay and they ruined my favorite item.

Neither of which they will ever likely fix.

The single best update CS2 could have is just deleting this entire trash game and just letting us go back to CSGO, a game that actually let everyone reasonably play, where items you pick out actually look like what you clicked INSPECT and looked at.

The game was completely cooked with hackers, maybe thats been improved but honestly? When people can peek and get up to half a second of 'free' peekers advantage, hardly even matters if people are hacking or not. The gameplay in this game has literally never once made me happy to be playing. Its a complete wreck.

0/10 game. Not even 1/10. Just completely terrible.

I feel betrayed to the point I dont want to spend $$$ on valve products ever again. I cant believe this is how valve treats their customers. And for what? Just half baked greed. Subtick is complete and utter trash. They get what.. MILLIONS of dollars in passive income from the steam market. HUGE incentive to give people a great experience to draw in even more players, to make their passive income markets thrive even more and what do we get instead?

HALF BAKED GREED 'subtick' that completely ruins the entire game. 128 tick servers would have been perfect. Then people wouldnt be FORCED to get fiber internet to even play the game. Let alone maybe needing an upgrade on their computer.

I waited a long time for them to fix it, I tried to get help, or have them listen; they flat out dont give a ♥♥♥♥. I cant do this anymore.
