HELP! My Mic in CS GO sounds like a voice changer.

This ONLY Happens in cs go. its okay on other games and skype. but on cs go i keep getting told im grieving and i cannot play without mic in competitive. it was fine before i installed Windows 10, maybe thats the problem?

I have the same problem. My mic worked fine until I installed Windows 10. Now it sounds slow and deep!!!

Go to 'manage audio devices' in control panel. Go to recording. Click your recording device then click properties. Go to micro phone effects and you will see at the bottom of the page a box that says 'disable microphone enhancements' besise it.You want to check the box off turning off enhancements. This fixed my problem, please tell me if it fixes yours.

i dont have that, i have realtek audio and i think that might be the problem.
