Hello so I knowe that you can get ur medal when u reach lvl 40 but I want to knowe untill when can I get it? Do I have time untill the dlc ends or what?

Yeah when u reach lvl 40 you get a medal like a coin

After reach Level 40 in 2015 you receive "2015 Service Medal", next year, your Rank will be reseted and you will have to earn Level 40 to win "2016 Service Medal"

PS.: Nobody knows what happens when you reach Level 40, if you will stay winning XP and winning more Levels or just lock it cause it's the MAX Level.

You need to get to lvl 40 and then reset your rank to get the coin.

Valve said, there is no limit to profile ranks. As far as we know, there are at least 40. If you dont reset you wont get the Service Medal. We dont know if there will be opportunity to reset rank if you gained level 41. Prolly in the next week or two some ppl will reach that lvl.
And I dont know where you dug information about 2016 Service Medal.

There is no info about autoresetting your rank at 01.01.2016 even you were not able to reach level 40.

I recently achieved the service medal and all I can say is: Once you reach level 40, you can choose th reset your level to get the medal, if not, you will continue to recieve XP and get to higher levels. I was at level 40 and was still recieving XP for games that I've played, so I assume that you should still be able to level up, you just wont get a new emblem for the higher elvels or a new name to fit the emblem. Thank you.
