Look at how many players CSGO has (400.000 playing at the moment, playerbase is much bigger) and how many pro teams are out there (and I'm talking about teams that have organisations staying behind them, funding trips and salaries). There will be like 20 teams at ESL ONE Cologne, 100 people (+staff, but you want to be a player). Just do the math bro. You will not only have to be at global elite skill level. You will have to DESTROY other global elites in order to be even seen in the crowd of very good players. A lot of effort for a very slim chance of your dreams becoming true. Not to mention, constant exhausting trips, bootcamps, playing the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game for 6-7-8+ hours a day for years... And you can lose your life in the process... Just screw all that, it's not worth it anyway.
I don't want to crush your dreams, but statistically speaking it will be much better for you to get some sort of proffesion and trying to get a normal job.
sorry bad english.
