CS:GO level requirement for competitive.

Hello, i have owned this gave for about a year now and i was in Gold AK in competitive before a took a break from the game,but just recently i have started to get back into the game and have found out that i need to grind for 3 levels just so i can play competitive. I have over 60 hours in this game (i know it isnt as much as alot other people) so that shows i have definitely played this game game before. All of my other friends that have kept up with the game have not had to go through the same grind requirements that i have when that certain update went live. I just think that it is kinda dumb that i have to go through the same things that new players that have just bought the game have to go through.

They made it for everyone so people who buy 12 copies of the game on sale have to go through it on each account. If you got just 1 account, you just gotta do it once. We all do.

Everyone has to be rank 3 or higher to play comp. I only play once a week and was rank 9 or so when they established the rank 3 thing a couple weeks after introducing the levels.

Just do it. It doesn't take much time, and it could possibly save you a few matches with smurfs and hackers. Since you haven't played in a while, you'll also need the extra practice.

And what's the purpose of this discussion? I had to go through that, so what? Stop thinking you're so special, everybody has done this or at least most players. Maybe, instead of complaining try getting to level 3 or just don't play the game, sounds simple to me.

Your skill rank doesn't matter for it, you probably got to xp rank 3 before it became a requirement.

i can see you hate helping people and i understand you enjoy normal games. But if he had the game for a year its kind of stupid that he would have to play some silly game mode so he can play comp Cs;go was made for comp not wasting time doing something no one wants to do

I have this game for 1 year, so what? The amount of time you had this game doesn't matter at all, this level 3 thing has been applied even to CS players who had CS GO since it's release date. This is a stupid as hell excuse because it wasn't applied just to specific players but everyone.
