How to send message to team with keys?

What is the console command for it like i want to bind j to say to my team that i need a drop.
any help please?

i do have a mic like during 1v1 i mute my team and i want to say i muted them but don have the time to type it out..

What he means is that with the key U you will open the team chat which allows you to type without the other team ever knowing.

press "Y" to text chat and "K" for voice. Might want to remap that though

you can do this in 2ways.... hit tild to pull down console n type this command without qoutes "messagemode2" anything after the command to the right will pop up as team meassage you can or you dont have to put qoutes withiin ur message ill know...... or you can use in the same reference "messagemode" to chat to all... also you can use "sayteam" to talk to team only n use "say" to talk to everyone.... once you get the hang of it just bind that word to a key example... bind kp_sub messagemode2 ..... this will pulll up team message prompt when u hit the numberpad Minus or Numpad Subtract key n for ur convenience use kp_plus which is NumpadAdd chat to everyeone... bind kp_plus messagemode ... or in place of messagemode/chat all, messagemode2/chat2team only u can use this command as an alternative; say/chatall, sayteam/team only hope this help you out
