My keyboard is a motospeed k27
used a key tester with and without game running, What It got is: Keyboard will nearly every single time have a problem with the double key press but only with W (for me thats the key) but mostly when A+W or F+W, no other keys suffer from the same fate.
With the game closed there are no troubles with double key pressing (not even 10 key pressing)
My secondary keyboard does not get the same problem (still too weird to be faulty hardware)
Although secondary keyboard will not register more than 2 inputs and some very specific inputs will also not work like G+H (there are specific pairs like this)
Wiped clean my pc, 3 days later same problem showed up at WOW, but now Q+W are the magic keys, did not retest all other keys.
My view on this is that it's software related, maybe a faulty windows configuration or keyboard is conflicting with something else.
could also be a priority problem (did not check it out though)
This is what I tried without luck:
·Rebinded keyboard to make sure it wasnt W fault (it happens with all keys)
·Restarted PC
·Unpluged and pluged again keyboard
·Changed USB port
·Run troubleshooting for keyboard
·Opened Device Manager, went to Keyboards, deleted all hardware and reinstalled again
·Disabled sticky keys and filter keys
·Update windows
·Reestablish an old version (a few days before the day started)
·Malware
I am looking for my old keyboard, this is such a shame, this faulty keyboard was almost new (The G-Lab Thellurium).
when i type mayus+key I sometimes get the same character a lot of times.
Do not know if it is related.
It definitely is a software problem either of windows or between windows and some keyboards...
The issue specificly is that 98% of the time CSGO works fine, even playing for hours, but sometimes after playing a bit (never in the beginning of a game) the movement key mostly A, but sometimes S-D-W stop working at all, or stop working for a bit.
I have sticky keys everywhere disabled. Re-mapping the keys ingame doesn't help. When i switch to windows when this issue starts, the same keys work totaly fine in Windows/a key tester. So it seems to be 100% CSGO related. No other games have this issue.
The weird thing is, when i verify the integrity of the gamefiles, it says it fails to aquire 1 file which has something to do with DirectX. When it's done verifying and i start CSGO again, CSGO installs DirectX again, and the keys work fine again for some time.
I also tried deleting the whole game (+folder) and reinstalling, done that 2 times already but doesn't help as well.
If anyone has any other idea's, please, let me know.
His is 8 years, so it's probably dead anyways
I have 3 keyboards: Laptops own, "Death Stalker" 10 years old and "Ornata v2" 2 weeks old. With all 3 i'm facing same issue. Holding some of WASD keys, stop responding sometimes.
Which is good indication that the keyboard isn't fault, I found out mine was usb ports and drivers
Regardless, once in a blue moon I'll sometimes jump at random just from random keystrokes with my hand off of my mouse.
I've tried to trigger this a few times and cannot reliably cause it on purpose.
Anyone else have a similar issue?
