Weapons Appear Black and Low-Quality Graphics In-Game

Hello.

Today, I started up CS:GO in order to play a game of competitive. However, when I loaded into my game, everything seemed low-quality. I thought this was a config that I had just installed (it was an fps config, my computer runs well but I always prefer getting as many frames as possible), but then I looked at my weapon and it was a solid black. I played the game and immediately after, I removed the fps config from my game. When I loaded CS:GO up again, it had the same effect. So I then verified the game cache (nothing negative showed) and uninstalled/reinstalled my game. Nothing happened.

Keep in mind that this randomly happened within the past 2 days or so, and my computer is not a total potato (I even found someone who had the same problem, but he doesn't remember how he fixed it). Thank you!

Sorry! Here are my specs (remember that this is happening all of a sudden so I doubt it has to do with my computer directly, but you probably know more about this issue than me):
Processor: AMD A10-5745M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.10 GHz
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 8.1

Ya, I see this quite often in the Bloodhound maps, certain areas are all blacked out.
Guess the res files don't get loaded or something and textures are left blank... sucks when playing competitive and you can't restart the game.

Have you tried using the "Verify integrety of Cache Files" feature steam has? Worth a shot.

Could also be your video card getting ready to kick it.

Usually, if a problem just suddenly "starts happening" and didnt before, theres a very high likely hood its your computer and not the game. Could be the cache files (most often the culprit), hard drive issues, driver problems, video card getting ready to die, cpu overheating etc.

I tried verifying my game cache before I uninstalled the game, and I don't see any issues with any other games including Team Fortress 2 which is the exact same since CS:GO started screwing up. Thanks for the reply though!

Try updating your APU drivers. Also, set max fps to 60

open console and type fps_max 60

could be an overheating issue

The answer to your question is simple, Bug

There is no reason you need the game to run at 300 fps.

I cant tell the difference between 144 and 300.

it happened to me before, it only occured on one weapon tho, it is my usp guardian that is black but the rest are good

i used to get 300gps but nowadays its low
