Why the Dragon Lore is so expensive ?

Hello, I really don't like the dragon lore skin so someone can explain me why he is so expensive ?

because the cases it is unboced from are very rare and cost a lot of money because they are not dropped any more. therefore, unlike other skins there is a finite amount that can be unboxed, making it very rare. This ontop of the fact that a lot of people like the skin a lot makes it very expensive

It's rare and Valve basically controls the market since they're the once that can decide what skins get dropped or what cases give out.
