Others: probably hold onto for if/when they become worth more (like Phoenix/Winter Offensive).

Get some cents. With those cents you'll eventually get enough to buy a key and then enter the lottery.

If you have left over cash, go ahead and open a case... If not, then just keep it. If it's Huntsman you can sell because they are still worth a bit.

When the new operation starts, if it has a case I'd say open them as soon as possible. Skins from new cases are insanely high for 2 or 3 days.

Sell! It seems a lot easier to buy the skins you want than gambling on skins that statistically, will be worthless (meaning the chances of getting a good skin).

GO crates are even worse than TF2 ones. At least you're guaranteed a strange weapon or better from those.

Just sell them and buy skins you like... Unless you're a chronic gambler, in which case seek help.

If you're gonna buy cases the best cases to buy now are Phoenix cases, since the new operation will start soon that means these will become a very rare drop and become valuable.

dunno. but i've noticed people's first unboxes usually gets a rare item. i got a 46$ stattrak on my first unbox, my friend got an 80$ knife, my other friend got a 200$ knife, all on first unbox.

I am just going to ask here, because I can't seem to figure it out. How do you acquire cases in the first place? Are they just random drops like Trading Cards, or do you earn them by unlocking achievements and completing challenges within the game?
