High ping ONLY in csgo

Hello,
the problem is I've been lately experiencing high ping (above 100, sometimes 200) only in this game. I download games with maximum speed, surf the internet without any delays and even play other multiplayer games with low ping (around 40). what might be a problem? I've already made sure there's nothing working in the background, flatmates aren't downloading anything. It's been bad for few weeks now so it's not a matter of "waiting it off".

getting this now 3 days ago 30 ping fine now jumps all the time i did auto fix does work but still jumps srs this needs be fix anyone come up with a real fix or is Valve be dumbass cant fix anything ?

Since your ping spikes are very high I would recommend verifying the game cache files, go to your steam library right click CS GO, click properties, go to local files and click verify integrity of game cache. Worked for me, it might take a few minutes.

When did the last update got released? From 2-3 days on Im not able to play the game. I use to play with 5-10 ping in EVERY match and now Im having 150 ping minimum in all servers, rubberbanding, teletransportation... completely unplayable. Dont know what to do...

argh! my brothers computer works fine NO LAG SPIKES and we both play in the same servers both using wired connection but i keep getting the lag spikes it's so frustrating and unfair

Ok guys, like previously mentioned in the fist page you need to reset your router and renew IP. It worked for me, however I'll simplify the steps for everyone so it's clear and easy to follow:

1. Press Windows Key + R
2. Type CMD
3. Reset your modem
4. Type exactly the following lines in the command window
   ipconfig /release
   ipconfig /renew
5. Once internet is back, boot the game
6. Load up a casual game (no need to go sanic mode and click comp)

Yep, ping is indeed looking better.

I fixed it with going to Windows firewall the pressing Restore Defaults

last night i was playin cs go had no problem.but after this morning(after new update)i had consistent 350 ping while i have no problem on internet or other games like dota 2.i had 45-60 ping on dota while 350 on cs go dunno what to do?
