About new operation

They remove the curent operation for what? There is no info about the new operation and yet they remove all the "new" maps. Now the game is empty...i don't see the point...

Operations are "limited" DLCs in the game, you have limited time as a challenge to upgrade your coin, now that time is over.

Looking at the bright side, they will keep dropping pheonix cases, and the operation maps are still in workshop, meaning they can be playable in servers.
I heard rumors (which I doubt about it) that Cache will be listed in the official map pool, I doubt it will happen, these are community maps, not official ones, the CSGO team supported them long enough, now its time to add new content into the game.

Agreed! But, they had ENOGH time to create a new one. We have a large number of community maps that can be put in the new operation. CS:GO is not just Cache, Seaside, etc.

Once, long a go, there were no operations... They were an extra, a little bonus on top of the maps already on offer

I think you're forgetting that the problems with the Howl could easily have something to do with this. Either the time spent on taking care of that situation or the way their system is coded.

Really...i don't belive it. I think the copyright problems is just a mask for my question. They add 3-4 weapons and change some craps and here you go...seems legit.

Kinda glad its over.

Out of the 8 Phoenix maps, I only liked Agency, Downtown, and Thunder. Cache was ok, but overplayed.The other 4 were crap...

Motel was one of the best maps in the game. It is a realistic scenario, the map looks good and it was challenging. Not like the other childish crap maps like dust2 or aztec the so called "pros" play all day long, because they tell each other that those are the best maps and where they can awp the hell out of other players.
It is a shame that they removed such a beautiful map...

And no, I did not know that it was a time limited offer. I guess that is my problem, but I still see no reason in removing those maps. A wider range of maps is always a good thing.

CSGO team added these maps in like they are part of the game, thats one HUGE support in my opinion, because there are already a wide range of community servers that can simply add these maps.

The fact that it is a limited time offer with an upgradable coin and the addition of a new case is more than enough.

Its a great and unique support from CSGO team right there, it encourages the community to use the workshop for any upcoming operations as well.
