Trade Up Question

Hi! I wanna try to get a Glock Fade with the Trade Up Contract. Just wondering, can I for example buy 10 UMP Caramel and have a chance? Basicly can I buy 10 of any skin in the Assault Collection and have a chance of getting a Glock Fade?

They only upgrade to the next color level in the collection. If you buy 10 UMP Caramels, they'll change to one 5-7 Candy Apple. You'll want at least 1 Negev | Anodized Navy or Aug | Hot Rod in a trade-up contract for a chance (either an MP9 Bulldozer or Glock Fade if you use 10 Anodized Navy Negevs and/or Aug Hot Rods).

You can buy 10 of the same item and it will count in the trade up

The Fade glock doesnt even drop anymore. thats why its so much money.

plain and simple. trade up usually makes you lose money. even if you bought 10 items for 2 cents. Odds are you'll get a 2 cent item. I dont think anyone has figured out what gives what combination, or even have its tiered per "item = 2 pts" or whatever. Basically... i think they did it to get items off the market, but it seems like at this point its much more for them than it is then for us. You wont even get an achievment. The highlight of your experience will see some text marks get old school type-writered across your screen. Which may make you feel achieved, however the item will not. (at least from my experience.)

Someone the other day mentioned that covert (or highest) weapons in a certain collection can't be used with the trade contract. So having for example having 10 chameleons wont let you trade them up. I don't think they even show when selecting the trade up contract.
