How to watch my friends demo *NEED HELP PLEASE*
Hey. Im trying to watch my friends demo. He sent me this link: steam://rungame/730/76561202255233023/+csgo_download_match%20CSGO-A59JT-zxRBz-MtLfx-dOCBA-qycuB

When i click on it, the game opens but it says:

"Failed to download match from CS:GO Match. Sharing servers because match replay has already expired."

But he saw that demo today, so it should be able for me to watch.

Somebody who can help me/Something im doing wrong?

Looks like the MM server deleted your friends demo so you can't download it. MM servers delete GOTV demos after a week I think (I'm not sure).

Your friend already has the demo downloaded onto his hard drive before it was automatically deleted so that's why he can watch it. You should get your friend to upload it on a file sharing site like Dropbox etc so you can download it.

No , there is some bug for sure.
Idk out of nowhere i started experiencing it.
When ever i try to download a demo it instantly says " Download incomplete with '!' " in a triangle.

One more thing...idk out of 8 any only 1 or 2 demos can be downloaded. Sometimes even they dont work!
i tried changing my connection but it's not working either.

Sometimes that happens, especially when you try to download them close after a match. Just wait some time or restart game, then it works mostly.
