What is a Trade Ban, how do you get them and how long do they last?

Just saw that some profiles have a Trade Ban, can someone please explain what the consequences of these are. Thanks for any help.

yeah i edited my post i accidentaly posted that before i finished writing it and trade bans are USUALY permenant but there is like a 1/1000000000000000000000000 chance to get unbanned if you pray to lord gaben

i havent traded in over a year and my friend wants to trade and it says "YOU CAN NOT TRADE WITH (NAME) BECAUSE YOU HAVE A TRADE BAN" buuut i didnt even do anything wtf steam

i got a red alert for spending too much money on my paypal in cs go and i have only traded with my friend like 5 times i got the game at like the beginning of may and with the red alert of not being able to use the market i got a trade ban it says for the market i would have to contact paypal and get it fixed would this maybe get rid of the trade ban???

Steam will give tradebann for real scammers and victims of trolling. usually streamers will get tradebann cause they accept item donations that thing happened to me and support wont care. steam support is 100% ♥♥♥♥ and managed by bots. when you get tradebann without right reason you wont get it off. your inventory will be locked and only way you can get your tradebann off you have to have 300k fans writing ♥♥♥♥ you to steamsupport or suck everyones ♥♥♥♥ in steam staff. ♥♥♥♥ you steam fix your support!
